Username

To access the BOi portal, you must have an account to log in. You will need to create your own username and password.
Here you will find the guidelines to help you create an appropriate, secure, and confidential username.

Please note
- The username is not case-sensitive.
This means you can use either uppercase or lowercase letters when logging in; they are treated as the same.
- The username must be unique.
This means that no identical usernames can be registered. If the username you have created is already in use, we will ask you to choose a different one.
- The username must not contain any personal or business information, such as a Tax Identification Number (persoonsnummer), date of birth, email address, or website address, nor should it suggest such information.
- Inappropriate usernames are not permitted. Please refer to the explanation below.
- It is not possible to change your username. Please refer to the explanation below.
Inappropriate or Prohibited Username
We aim to communicate with each other respectfully. This helps create a positive and professional environment where everyone feels respected and safe. For this reason, we have established the following rules to prevent inappropriate or prohibited usernames.
- A username may not contain the name 'DIMP' or any variant thereof, for example, 'D!mp'.
- A username may not contain the name 'Impuesto', 'Belasting', 'Tax', or any variation thereof, such as 'D!mpuesto'.
- A username may not contain a name that implies a reference to Departamento di Impuesto or Aruba Tax Departament or DIMP, its services, and/or activities in a broad sense.
- A username may not contain a name that implies a reference to the name of a tax type or any abbreviation thereof.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it is offensive, obscene, indecent, defamatory, intimidating, threatening, racist, hateful, or violent in nature.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it targets an identity group, for example, minors, cultural, gender, social, religious, political, or national groups.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it can be regarded as an attack on a viewpoint, for example, a social or political stance.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it contains sexual content or implies a reference to sexual content.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it contains swear words or variants thereof.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it contains references to illegal substances or activities, such as narcotics or prostitution.
- A username is considered inappropriate and will not be allowed if it contains the name of a person, company, product or service, or any variant thereof, that we deem unacceptable.
We reserve the right to refuse a username if, in our opinion, it is inappropriate or prohibited.
In case your username cannot be accepted, we will contact you and ask you to create another username.
Changing username is not possible
Please note that the rules have been established to help you create an appropriate, secure, and confidential username.
Once created, the username cannot be changed or deleted. Therefore, choose your username carefully and do not include any personal information.
If your registration for a BOi account is successful, you will receive an email confirming your username. In a separate email, you will receive your one-time password (One-Time Password – OTP). You can use these details to log in to the BOi portal. After logging in, you must immediately set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to further secure your account.
Never share your username and password with anyone else.
